Introduction

Fonds Gesundes Österreich invites experts to gather twice a year to share ideas and experiences. The Austrian Health Promotion Conference takes place every spring in an Austrian province, and the Austrian Prevention Conference is held in late fall in Vienna. Both are much-appreciated meeting grounds for experts from science and politics, practitioners of health promotion and opinion leaders. In fact, they have developed into central networking tools in the field of health promotion and disease prevention.

The same can be said of our continuing education events. Chief among them is the seminar program “Health Promotion Educational Network”, which is tailor-made for people working in health promotion projects and in public health administration.
