Gerlinde Rohrauer

Gerlinde Rohrauer is a psychologist. Prior to taking her current position at FGÖ in 2003, she worked, inter alia, at a consulting center for the disabled, in management consulting and as a trainer in projects aimed at integrating young people on the labor market. In October 2004 she began working on a Master of Public Health in a degree program offered by the Medical University of Graz and aimed at professionals active in the field. Her responsibilities at FGÖ include project consulting, assessment and coaching in the fields of  emotional health and gender, and the implementation of the priority topic “Mental and Emotional Health.”

"I want to devote my energies to seeing that there are more community activities on mental health promotion, an area of health care that is still neglected. It is also important to me to inject more gender perspectives in health promotion. This would help to reduce existing inequalities in the health sector while at the same time improving the quality of the projects and initiatives."
