Dr. Andrea Kdolsky

After doing a postgraduate hospital residency at Eggenburg Hospital (1995), Kdolsky began training as a specialist in anesthesiology, intensive medicine and palliative therapy at the Medical School of the Vienna General Hospital (AKH), which she completed in 2001. From 2001 to 2004 she was a senior physician at the University Clinic for Anesthesiology, Intensive Medicine and Palliative Therapy. Following a brief stint as deputy executive director of the Federal Institute of International Education and Technology Transfers (BIB), Kdolsky switched in 2005 to the NÖ Landeskliniken-Holding, where she became medical managing director starting in March 2006. Upon being named Federal Minister of Health and Family, Dr. Andrea Kdolsky took on an important ministerial post in the government and became the new president of Fonds Gesundes Österreich.
